Following last year’s successful launch, LightFair is bringing back its Designery—a series of thirteen hour-long educational sessions presented inside the Design Pavilion—to the LightFair Tradeshow, June 21-23 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
“Design education on the show floor provides further value to the exhibit hall pass, especially for attendees with limited time to explore everything LightFair has to offer,” said Dan Darby, show director. “Designery programming will help LightFair designers and specifiers identify design-driven lighting and lighting-adjacent tools that they can directly explore in the exhibit hall.”
The Designery, which is a design-dedicated seminar space located within the Design Pavilion, is set to present thirteen hour-long educational sessions led by industry-leading lighting designers, architects, specifiers and interior designers.
The educational sessions will take place as moderated discussions, conversations, case studies, presentations and leadership panels in the Designery.
Nine presentations each offer 1.0 CEU credit:
ART LIGHT: Transcendent Illumination presented by Charles Stone; Plants vs People presented by Christopher Bishop;
Spotlight on the Queer Experience in Lighting presented by Alana Shepard;
Light on Waste: Evaluating the Impact of LED Lighting presented by Christine Cornelius, Sara Duffy, and Zach Suchara;
The Art of Landscape Illumination presented by Dawn Hollingsworth and Kathryn Toth;
Health, Hospitality and our Environment presented by Brennan Schumacher and Janelle Drouet;
From the Spark of an Idea to the Flip of the Switch presented by Clara Bukalski, Lisa Reed,Liz Arras, Dick Pendleton, Kaitlin Page, Brad Picht, and Bob King;

Access to Designery educational sessions is included with Tradeshow exhibit floor access. Attendees can purchase Trade Show access individually or it is included with the purchase of Conference sessions.
LightFair’s Trade Show will present more than 300 exhibits including four pavilions—The Collective, Design Pavilion, Outdoor Pavilion, and Smart Pavilion. The exhibit hall also offers on-floor education in LightFair Live, with additional opportunities to learn from the new Outdoor Exchange and TEK Talks.
The LightFair Conference, which runs June 19-23, will showcase some 44 sessions across six tracks, spanning over the five days of the conference. Sessions will range from 2-days, 1-day, daily workshops, 90-minute sessions and 60-minute sessions, offering 120+ CEUs.
LightFair 2022, the world’s largest annual architectural and commercial lighting tradeshow and conference, will showcase the newest and brightest innovations in lighting June 19-23, 2022, in the Las Vegas Convention Center’s new state-of-the-art West Hall.
